Programme Overview

The IT Genie Workplace Bootcamp is a full scholarship programme designed for recent graduates and students seeking practical development experience. This isn't a classroom course — you'll learn by working on real client projects from day one.

Over 12 months, you'll progress through four phases, gradually taking on more responsibility as your skills develop. You'll receive one-on-one mentorship, access to industry-standard tools, and the opportunity to build a portfolio of real work.

The programme operates under Section 198B(3)(b)(ii) of the Labour Relations Act, providing legitimate work experience for students and graduates while preparing you for a career in software development.

Programme Includes:

  • Full scholarship (commercial value R80,000)
  • Monthly transport bursary (R500)
  • One-on-one mentorship sessions
  • Real client project experience
  • Industry-standard development tools
  • Certificate of completion
  • Professional reference letter
